From selecting the right artist(s) from a decade’s worth of connections to managing the job to completion, we ensure each project brings a creative vision to fruition just as imagined, while connecting local artists to paid opportunities.

To suit the needs of our partners, we offer two distinct options for our Inspiration Projects services:
Comprehensive Project Management
Hire ArtPop to manage your project for you, and we’ll handle the entire process from start to finish, from artist selection to overseeing all progress & development.
Basic Project Consulting
We would be happy to recommend and/or connect you with professional creatives from our expansive network of local artists, so you can hire them directly to manage the project yourself.

1. Research & Discovery - Before a project begins, we’ll get to know the client, their mission, and their project’s parameters to start creating a vision and a plan for our creative work together.
2. Concepting & Ideation - From artist recommendations and renderings to on-site visits, we'll develop a creative strategy, design options, timelines, and more to ensure a smooth project from start to finish.
3. Management & Execution - Time to create! As the project artist(s) dive into action, we'll keep things communicated, organized, and on schedule for project completion.

Artists’ Frequently Asked Questions:

Inspiration Projects opportunities are available to visual artists working in all mediums, who reside in ArtPop’s 14-county region of operation*. These opportunities are not solely limited to those who have been in the Cities Program, or to those who have worked with ArtPop in the past.
*ArtPop’s program areas currently include: Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, Union, York (SC), Chester (SC), and Lancaster (SC).

Local creatives who fill out our Artist Interest Form are added to our database of active community artists and their skills.
When a client connects with us to initiate a new project, we reference this database as well as our larger network of community artists, so we can always recommend the right artist(s) for the job.
As all Inspiration Projects are currently client-initiated, ArtPop cannot guarantee that every artist who completes the form will be hired for Inspiration Projects opportunities.

Nope! While a number of our recent projects have involved murals, we have also managed a projects involving a variety of creative mediums and skills - see “Open to Any Creative Challenge” and “Recent Projects” for examples!
Murals can also be applied as a printed vinyl decals, meaning any artwork could become a mural, if it’s the right piece for the project!

Our Cities Program is an annual year-long juried-exhibition / advertising campaign that 20 local artists are juried into each year.
Inspiration Projects are individual jobs of varying types, in which ArtPop works with local artists on a case-by-case basis in order to bring our clients’ visions to life!
