Serving our community through local art is what ArtPop's mission is all about, and this Inspiration Projects mural delivers on that promise! Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC reached out to us with their idea for a community-based mural to brighten their brand-new West Charlotte Community Center. To bring their vision to life, we had the pleasure of working alongside Charlotte artist & designer Marcus Kiser, who led art students from West Charlotte High School in painting the mural based on his original design.
Through this project, these students were given hands-on mural experience working with a professional artist who had previously graduated from their school.

Marcus and ArtPop were invited to attend Blue Cross NC's Open House Event, where we celebrated the public unveiling of the mural and the location's opening, alongside Blue Cross NC employees, fellow non-profit organizations, key stakeholders, and leaders within the Charlotte community!
