To further elevate their beautiful new educational facility in Uptown Charlotte, the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School commissioned ArtPop Inspiration Projects to manage the creation and installation of two unique artworks by local artists! ArtPop provided artist recommendations from its extensive network of local creatives, from which the client selected two Cities Program alum: Stella Pitre (Class of 2018) and Ian Wegener (Class of 2020).
Infinite Waves by Stella Pitre
Artist Statement:
“Infinite Waves is an abstract interpretation of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School's core values: integrity, inclusion, innovation, and impact. The initial image of the piece resembles continuous flow of waves. In detail, it's filled with swirls that are individually distinctive in colors and shapes representing each and every leader of the school that impacts the society.”
