ArtPop Awarded NEA Grant for 2026 Artist Cohort
We’re honored to share that ArtPop has been awarded a $40,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support the 2026 Artist Cohort!
This award will account for 8% toward our 2026 budget goal, and we’re inviting our local community and business partners to help match this momentum!

ArtPop was honored to parter with Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the Baxter Mill Archive for their beautiful Holiday Soirée. The Sustainability & Fashion program showing future first upcycled fashion against the backdrop of an expansive history of fabric and fashion was a perfect way to close out 2025!

Recap: ‘Perspectives: A Lens in History’ - ArtPop Artist Exhibit at Cain center for the Arts
ArtPop is excited to have partnered again with Cain Center for the Arts to present another exhibition of works by our talented artists & alumni! For this 3rd-annual partnered exhibit, the theme was lens-based media - including digital and traditional photography, videography, and artworks that incorporate original photographic imagery.
ArtPop Goes International!
When possible, ArtPop partners with international media partners in order to extend the reach of the Cities Program by featuring artists born outside of the U.S. within their home countries! Check out the Charlotte artists that have been showcased around the globe when ArtPop Goes International!
Recap: Local Art Activation at ‘Carolina Farm Feast’
Through ArtPop’s Inspiration Projects division, 20 local artists have been commissioned to creatively embellish table runners that will be on displayed at Carolina Farm Feast. This event hosted by Carolina Farm Trust is a farm-to-table dinner highlighting regional food & art, and celebrating a decade of the impact of their organization’s efforts.

We were thrilled to bring sustainable style to one of the season’s most elegant events! Guests of the Hats in the Garden event at Daniel Stowe Conservancy were treated to a mini fashion show during lunch and met our talented models and designers up close as they transformed the garden into a living runway.
Recap: ‘Beige’ Takeover at TAOH Outdoor Gallery
As a part of the Beige campaign, ArtPop and the TAOH Outdoor Gallery staged this awareness event to draw attention to the immediate need for arts funding in Charlotte. The typically-bright and colorful creative space at TAOH was blanked out as the bland face of Beige as artists, art-lovers, and the press converged to discuss the massive impact that the arts have in our community!

Uptown Charlotte is Transformed Again by ArtPop's Local Artist Displays
For the first time in nearly 2 years, ArtPop’s public art displays returned to Uptown Charlotte with the Cities Program Class of 2025! Through a special partnership with Orange Barrel Media, twenty artists from throughout the Charlotte region were showcased for an entire month on 3 stunning digital displays at Queen City Quarter at 210 East Trade Street (formerly known as the Epicenter).

Join us in welcoming the 20 talented local artists who have been juried into ArtPop’s Charlotte-region Cities Program Class of 2025! Throughout the year, artworks by 19 adults and 1 high school senior will be exhibited on billboards and public ad displays. Donated by our media partners, this ad space is valued at over $8.5 million!
