Recap: Upcycled Fashion Showcase for F.I.T.’s Holiday Soirée at the Baxter Mill Archive
May 18th, 2025
at The Thread in Rock Hill, SC
ArtPop was honored to parter with Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the Baxter Mill Archive for their beautiful Holiday Soirée. The Sustainability & Fashion program showing future first upcycled fashion against the backdrop of an expansive history of fabric and fashion was a perfect way to close out 2025!
Hosted within one of the largest privately held textile archives in the country, the evening brought together alumni, creatives, and community members to explore the legacy of textile craftsmanship and its ongoing influence on contemporary fashion. ArtPop was honored to participate by featuring designers and models from our Annual Upcycled Fashion Show, and designer Whill White, Jr. shared his passion for fashion and sustainability as the evening’s guest speaker.
