Kathy Phillips - Upcycled Victorian Steampunk Garment
Modeled by Amellia Hausmann
Billboard Artwork by Hanna McKee
Featured in ArtPop’s 6th Annual Upcycled Fashion Show & Community Arts Fundraiser
Inspired by the elegance of Victorian fashion and the inventive spirit of Steampunk, this two-piece ensemble transforms Hannah McKee's bold ArtPop billboard artwork into a modern couture silhouette. The fitted jacket features a three-belt front closure with contrasting lapels, while the full circular skirt creates a dramatic silhouette. Both pieces are embellished with intricate damask appliqué, creating a striking dialogue between contemporary art and timeless craftsmanship.
