Brehon’s design captures the precise moment where earthbound gravity surrenders to the freedom of flight. Before the leap, however, there is the cocoon.
A sweeping black coat envelops the figure—part armor, part chrysalis—concealing the skydiver, hiding the creature. In this stillness, the transformation waits. The coat holds the promise of flight, its dark weight making the burst of color beneath all the more electric when revealed by model Xavier Stinson. The soft sky-blue base, brushed with painterly strokes of white and golden yellow, evokes an ever-changing sky pierced by light.
Each pocket and glove are cut from deep feather-texture, a grounding contrast to the airborne motif—like talons anchoring a bird mid-flight. But it’s the parachute that carries the soul of the design: a cascading ombre of fiery feathers, meticulously layered to mimic avian plumage in motion. He is not wearing a jumpsuit; he is soaring in it.
