Anna Dean - Donor Wall Sculpture for Care Ring

Completed: February 2025
Located at 1514 N. Graham St in Charlotte, NC.

Community health nonprofit Care Ring partnered with ArtPop to commission an installation sculpture that doubles as a way to thank the donors from their “Here We Grow: Building Healthy Futures” capital campaign. To bring this vision to life, ArtPop partnered with local artist Anna Dean.

Inspired by Care Ring’s massive impact through their work in the community, Anna designed an artwork that visualizes a ripple effect. Each donor’s name is etched into cast acrylic discs, which overlap at various depths. The finished piece was installed within Care Ring’s new community clinic, where you can also see our mural project with artist Von Jeter!

Artist Impact Statement:

“I am thankful to ArtPop for the opportunity to work on this project. It was so lovely to learn more about Care Ring and the critical role they play in our community. My hope is that this work of art will honor those who helped create this amazing facility, and provide a sense of calm and healing for those who visit. Thank you to ArtPop for making meaningful connections between local businesses and artists and putting artists to work!”
