Katrina Sánchez - Interior Installation at Lowe’s Tech Hub
ArtPop teamed up with Gökotta and Cities Program Class of 2022 Alumni Katrina Sánchez to create this massive-scale woven installation, which spans three floors at the Lowe’s Tech Hub in Charlotte, NC! This massive soft sculpture - titled Cascading Softly - is made up of Katrina’s “magnified weavings,” which combine knit and woven textile structures. These structures are installed vertically on the walls to create a vibrant color gradient cascading down 22nd, 23rd, and 24th levels.
