Will White, Jr. - Evening Gown
Modeled by Jashanta Brown
Billboard Artwork by Joann C. McDaniel
Featured in ArtPop’s 5th Annual Upcycled Fashion Show & Fundraiser
When thinking of his piece constructed from 2024 billboard artist Joann C. McDaniel, Will was excited to keep the look fun and flirty to showcase the pure joy that McDaniel channels into the piece depicting a group of “women of a certain age” still having the time of their lives as friends.
In turn, Will has kept in step with his avant-garde approach to fashion and leaned into a bit of skin with a 2-piece party look, modeled by Jashanta Brown.
Not to fall victim to the mundane, Will has added a sweeping shawl duster with accented bows to keep the piece young and energetic.
Will feels that fashion should be fun, and if any of us are able to grab at least a fraction of the fun and unbridled joy depicted in McDaniel’s piece in this life, we should consider ourselves lucky to do so.
