Upcycled Fashion garments from ArtPop's Sustainability & Fashion program were featured in Mint To Be: The Feminine Body as Costume Art. This immersive, month-long exhibit at the Mint Museum Uptown celebrated femininity through the creative vision of local artists.
For the second year in a row, ArtPop brought a Fashion & Sustainability showcase to Daniel Stowe Conservancy’s Hats in the Garden event. Guests were treated to a runway show featuring four garments from our 2025 Upcycled Fashion Show, and they got to meet & mingle with the models and designers!
ArtPop is thrilled to welcome 24 talented local artists juried into our 2026 Artist Cohort! Throughout this year, artworks by 19 adults and - for the first time - 5 high school senior student artists will be showcased on billboards throughout the Charlotte region and beyond. This billboard advertising campaign is made possible through in-kind donations by ArtPop’s media partners, and is valued at over $8.5 million. Be on the lookout - billboard installations will begin soon and continue throughout the year!
Our first Community Art Market of the 2026 featured a combination of ArtPop Alumni along with talented local artists from the Charlotte and surrounding regions. There were a great variety of mediums and scale of work on display with many pieces finding their way into local collections.
